Dear Parishioner:
On behalf of the entire Community of Our Lady of La Salette and Our Lady of Lourdes, we extend to you a warm welcome. We are a community united through baptism and faith to a larger, universal community, the People of God.
As a member of the Body of Christ, you are eligible for all the rights and privileges, and you also bring as an individual, unique gifts. We believe that Christ brought you here for a purpose. He has given you many gifts that can and must be shared with others. Sometimes we hear these gifts summarized with the words, "Time, Talent and Treasure." However they are described, they are meant to be used in service to other people. We encourage your participation in all aspects of parish life: worship, education, service.
Responding to this invitation to community and building up the kingdom of God, we are especially aware of the La Salette message of reconciliation. We concentrate our effort in the areas of liturgy, on-going education, religious education, Christian fellowship, outreach and stewardship, always mindful that the Eucharist is the very center of our lives.
Even though we are a rural parish, we have a growing, vibrant parish with many activities. These expanding programs and ministries touch many areas of life. They could not prosper without the participation in our parish life. Our Pastoral Team is here to minister and serve you.
Again we welcome you. May God continue to bless your life and that of our entire parish.
Sincerely in the Lord and
Our Lady of La Salette,
Rev. Raymond Vaillancourt, M.S.
